Q: When will the technology upgrade take place?
Transition to the new system will take place on the weekend beginning Saturday, October 14th. The office will be closed! We will reopen as usual on Monday, October 16th at 9:00 am. ATMs at each location will be available throughout the weekend, although balance inquiries will NOT be available.
On Monday, October 16th, ATMs will be unavailable so that we can convert them over to the new system. Starting October 16th, please look for the new Fidelity Federal app in your app store.
Q: Will online banking, bill pay and the mobile app be available during the upgrade weekend?
To convert these systems, the mobile app will not be available from 4:00 p.m. on Friday, Oct. 13 until noon on Oct. 16. Bill pay will not be available from 8:00 a.m. on Friday, Oct. 13 until mid-day on Tuesday, Oct. 17. Online banking will be inquiry only starting at 4:00 p.m. on Oct. 13 until Oct. 16.
Q: Will my account number change?
Yes, the first zero of your account number will drop.
Q: Will checks remain the same?
Existing checks will not change, so you can continue to use the ones you have.
Q: Will I be able to use my ATM/debit card over the weekend?
Yes, you may continue to use your ATM/debit card throughout the weekend. However, while ATM/debit card service will be available during the system upgrade, real-time data on your funds availability may not be available. To ensure you have sufficient funds to withdraw cash and make purchases with your ATM/debit card during the upgrade, we are requesting you make any necessary transactions ahead of time.
Q: What if I am currently enrolled for eStatements?
Once the upgrade takes place, eStatements before Oct. 16 will not be available. We will be able to retrieve prior statements according to the current fee schedule. Please make sure to save your prior statements.
Q: Do I have to enroll in online banking again?
Re-enrollment isn’t necessary, as you will be grandfathered into the new system. However, you will be required to enroll again if you choose to use the self-serve password reset.
